Question!!!!
How many people have used automotive paint to do their interiors?
I used spray paint, and it looks alright, but I'm thinking in the spring that I'm gonna have my brother's friend paint my parts with the same color paint as my exterior.
For the people who had this done, did you run into any problems?
Holla back!

My dash is painted with automotive paint..as is Yuri's (Bat Lord). My dash looks like it was fiberglassed over. Very shiny! You have to be careful on a sunny day because you get a really bad glare. That's the only issue I've ever had with it. Also...you have to take all the steps with your interior as the exterior. All the sanding, primer, clear coat work, etc...
The problem with regular spray paint i.e walmart paint is that their is not a flexible element in the paint so after time it will start to cheap and peel also the harding element is not that strong so on a hot sunny day it might (very good chance) will start to bubble up on you do to the sun cooking it although it might last for year soon enough you will find yourself back at step one. Everything Low said is true with the sanding etc.. but you need to get a paint that has a good hardner and flexible element or your going down the road to meet trouble.
I used 500 degree engine paint with tons of clear coat because of the reasons that Jaws99 stated. The paint is very flexible and it won't bubble in the sun
