Ok.. this is still into the future for me.. I use the hatch of my Tib a LOT, so I do not want to loose any room.. or at least as little as possible. I also prefer to listen to Jazz so I like my Bass tight. The new GK tibs with the optional radio have a nice little sub tucked into the passenger side rear fender, into that alcove behind the rear wheel well.. bringing the opening flush (or close to it) with the line of the hatch.

How hard do you think it would be to duplicate this, could I do it with a sheet of marine plywood formed to fit that alcove perfectly or would I need to make a real enclosure behind it for the sub? If I did have to enclose it, how bit an enclosure for a nice little 8 inch?

I've got an Infinity 10" Bass Link in my car. It takes up very little room, and sounds really good. In my opinion that is... smile.gif

Thanks! See this is the info I am looking for. Audio is not my thing, I am a video editor by training. And like I said.. I am not looking for a booming system.. just a nice tight system to really showcase my jazz.

might be hard work, but if you dont want to lose any trunk space stick 2 small subs where the rear speakers are that way the bass is closer to you and you have all the trunk space still
