Well, now that I did the preliminary work (Alarm, an SR Banner, Red Hyundai Emlem) on my car, I am ready for the first stage of major alterations/additions. I plan on wheels and tires in the Spring but now, its Neon...
I got some for X-Mas, I bought everything else I needed yesterday. I have a plan. Here's what I purchased and where they will go:

-- 2 Red 6" Thin Neon Tubes mounted in the centre console.

--2 Red 9" Thin Neon Tubes mounted on the rear beams by the hatchback or mounted in the Moonroof (haven't decided yet).

--Red Indeglo Pedals with a red dead pedal added as well.

-- 2 Red LED Screw lights holding a red reflector plate on the front.

-- Red Neon License Plate on the rear.
-- Red LED washer lights.

-- Four Red LED Wheels lights (not valve lights).
-- 4 Red Headlight Flahsers, 2 for the rear, 2 for the front.

The internals will be mounted probably next month. The externals will wait until the spring, and go in with the 17 " wheels.

 

I recently put some interior neons in my Tib. I have a total of 7 blue neon rods.
4-8" under the dash, pass foot area, and both rear passenger foot area. 1-24" in the trunk shining on my subs and 2-12" in the trunk shining on my amp. Will try to post pics. smile.gif

 

dam my fascination with blue lights was bad.

I usually award myself with neons after i do an engine mod. I like keeping a balance.

The underglow kit looks kool.

4 neons under the dash might be a tad too much. Having that many will outshine the indiglow pedals. Just have one on each side. Use the other 2 somewhere in the back.

You might want to rethink the indiglow license plate frame,... they look umm,..well,.. not that kool.
I would like to see the rim lights. I thought about getting those, but i decided on getting my underglow kit instead.

You might want to get some red bulbs for your turning and back up signals. Red headlight bulbs, red front turning signals,.. red lights behind the gauges, red dome light, red indiglow stickshifter, red on white gauges, red sony stereo, red hosetechique engine hoses, red indiglow rims, and you might like the red indiglow exhaust, thats just a few

Then you will be a slow riding comet,...lol

make sure you guys take pics, i REALLY want to see how this turns out.

If this doesnt solve your need for lights,... get your christmas lights and tape them to the trim of your car with red electrical tape. j/k

I kinda liked the license plate. Besides its too late, I already bought them. smile.gif

I already picked up dome lights but they fade pretty fast...but not bad for 3 bucks.

The reason I picked the rim lights is that they are harder to steal than valve lights.

I do have Headlight flashers that glow red when the car is cruising though...that will look cool when done...

The stickshifter is hard to get up here. I woul dhave to order it speciality from Streetglow, which carries the only brand I want.

 

well this is what i used to have.
6 red neons interior. two under dash two under front seat. two under rear of front seat. had one in the trunk. had four strobes on the interior. two white two red. had two red neons in the headlights. then i got rid of all of it. going to buy
8 purple neons. 6 for the compartment. two for the trunk. got a white under car gold series kit. might get a purple one to and interchange the lights. license plate is kinda cool. never thought about the wheel thingys. what do they look like

 

They are about an inch and a half long, curved, and they have button cell batteries on either side. Then are about half inch thick and glue right on to the wheels themselves. They can be bought with multi-colors or single colors, like the red I bought.

 

where did you get em and for how much?

 

Eurolite makes them. They cost me $29 cdn for two so I am thinking $19 US a pair.
