Default Pressure washing the carpet

I have some stains on my carpet that I have tried all kinds of shampoo and upholstery cleaner on, but it wont come out. If I were to remove the carpet, hang it up, and use a pressure washer on it...would the carpet stay in tact or would a pressure washer rip it apart?

depends on the pressure your washer is capable of, and the nozzzle you use. 3500psi and a narrow nozzle = carpet shreds everwhere.

I would try to tread the stains with stain removers, goof off, goo-gone and other stuff before resorting to pressure washing though.

You could also just buy used carpet from a wrecked accent and replace. You can find some pristine carpeting in low mile cars!

Just use a garden hose and a spray nozzle that can do a stream. I wash carpet that way all the time without any problems.

Some stains (like specific fungi) you cannot remove. I would go for a replacement like Random said.
