I'm trying to hide the power wire that runs from the battery back to my amp. I have it running along the floor next to the driver's side door but I can't close it up. Those stupid silver clips that hold the wiring already running along there gets in the way and I can't fit the cover back on. I have 4 awg wire running through there and wanted to know what you guys did. I tried to run the wire down below those clips but that didn't work. Should I undo the clips and try to run the power wire through those clips along with the stock wiring that is in there already? OR MAYBE I am just doing it wrong? Maybe I'm not pushing it in there correctly? What did you guys do?

BTW, which way did you run your RCA cables? I'm thinking of running them through the center console... under the passenger seat... then back along the passenger side of the car to avoid having them cross the power wire.

I can't show any pics because my card reader stopped working.

Run your power wire along the side of your seat. Right where your running it now but under the carpet and along the left side of the seat.

Also for your RCAs your okay running it that way

Oh... ok, that's what I was doing wrong. I was trying to get it under that cover. I think I can get it now. Thanks Tanc!

My power wire is run through the clips. It's basically a conduit. Use the clips if possible. They provide protection and security. I run 2AWG wire through mine. It works fine.

i had to run my 4awg between the seat and clips, you cant see it but i couldnt fit it through the silver clips, i had 2 8awg wires in there before temporarily but the 4awg didnt fit for me

and for the rca i just ran them through the clips on the passanger side instead of under the seat or anthing, from the deck behind the glove box, along the side of the car and then up in the trunk, have 3 rca cables fed through that way, sub and 4 channel amp

Thank you. I actually got it in those clips. So, I'm good. Just unscrewed the clips and slipped it right in there.

Ya definitley neater running with the factory wiring along the drivers side. I ran 4awg power cable, rcas, remote wire all through there, it was a tight fit but it worked. Mind you I had my drivers seat, backseat all removed while installing my system as to make it easier to work.
