Plastidip steering wheel

Plastidip steering wheel
My steering wheel is starting to peel a little bit and I was wondering if I took it off and sprayed black Plastidip over it, would it work or peel off really fast from driving? Anybody on here ever tried it?

It'll last for a little bit, but eventually will wear away from your hands on the wheel. Either get a leather steering wheel cover like this below, or find a good condition one at a junk yard and swap it...
