hi. i was wondering if anyone can tell me if the clear plastic piece that goes over the gauges, would fit the same for a 2001 tib and a 1997 tib. thanks.

I believe it is the same. You can use later gages in earlier cars, so it would have to mate up to the dash

yeah, it looks the exact same, so it should fit, but im trying to find out for sure, before i buy the piece and replace it.

It's the same. I can tell you that much. I've swapped them out afew times.
