New panels, get them from www.car-parts.com, ebay, from RDTiburon.com, or stcharlesauto.com . MUCH cheaper than the dealer.

There is an RD1 on E-bay that a salvage yard is parting out. You could get some parts there maybe.

QUOTE: sometimes I DO do things half ass. Usually because I dont have the knowledge in the first place and Im too broke to have someone else do it.

Dude, if you don't know somthing , ask, also don't just jump straight into somthing then get half way through then find you have hit a problem, assess what you want to do to see if you can do it.

I know jack about cars, but slowley i like to think i'm getting somwhere, by searching and asking, i found loads of help and tips this way, i've sprayed my dash twice now and i could prob have my dash out in about 10- 15 mins, i use to make notes of what screws went where and how things clipped together , its just a case of taking your time, just because you don't know somthing it does'nt meen you have to loose heart and rush it, take your time, its worth it, i aint done that much to my car yet but the work that has been done has been done by me and no body else and the work i intend on doing will be done by me too.

well its not that I do it half ass..its just that when I first did it sooo long ago I didnt have any idea what I was doing. and it came out terrible. So from then on I kept learning new ways and techniques on painting the interior...and by now its just soooo badly messed up its hard to make it look nice..unless i do some crazy sanding and peeling..which Im doing now...half of the upper dash has the paint peeled off lol. and Im going to do it right...because by now..i know what to do and what NOT to do. so hopefully it turns out 200% better.

I personally would have gone for mainly black with a few silver accents.

It's a real shame you botched it up the first few times because now it's going to be a b!tch to get the finishes al nice, smooth & clean of shitty blue, green & even orange paint sad.gif

Looks heaps better now than before though mate fing02.gif

Damn, i love how this interior turned out! nice job.

Anyway, don't get discouraged, u'll get it to look great. I've painted and painted my interior also like 10 times now, but i'm looking to get the look to flow cause i painted both door panels and glove box, i'll post some pics later, i still need to do some re-painting in some parts.I also need new door panels, cause the dumb asses at the dealer took out the original alarm off and didnt know how the door panels were on there, they thought they were two separate pieces and tried takeing the top off forcing it so they cracked it all on both sides.

Thanks REDZ for the web pages on were to order the panels!! hail.gif

1. Those lights are pointless, wtf does it light up? Your guages? Nothing...
2. Your interior pieces dont even fit right after you've taken it apart 1000times.
3. Your shit probably rattles in while your parked from ^^^
4. Fix overspray
5. Fix everything that is broken like, seat, armrest...So qwhat you have white paint? Everything else is fallin apart. Fix that first before you do anything else. Just buy a new car LOL. I dont think there's much hope for that. Who knows what else we can't see from those pics. Looks like you do jobs half-ass.
.

That's pretty harsh IMO.

1. What if you drop something on the floor at night? It'd be nice to have them. But on a switch or hooked to the door lights.

2-3. use a heat gun and that side bolt next to the radio surround to tighten things up. It will go back to the way it should be. just work it. Also to stop rattling, you can buy some felt stickon stuff at a craft shop. do not buy new panels.

4-5. agreed.

Dude, you need to straight up clean yo car! A razor blade will shave paint from your windshield easily. You've been on RDT long enough that you know what right looks like. You didn't put your interior on the correct way.. like that radio surround is on the outside instead of the inside of the lower crashpad assy. It looks good, but it's done wrong.

What i'm saying is, more work, lots of cleaning, a bit of inspection of your work, and you can have a really nice car.
