Phorq's Interior
i used some stuff called Valspar premium indoor/outdoor "ultra enamel" paint. it was $3-4 per can. i just suggest staying away from the cheapest can on the shelf... i've seen more than a few very chipped up colored dashes around here who used that $1 can stuff (along with too few coats).
i'm desperately trying to find one out of a certain few i want. i'm just being a miser, and don't want to drop more than $40 for a small piece of aluminum... but i've definitely been looking... need a short shifter too...

Phorq,
No to post whore, but you really need a new aftermarket shift knob. fyou_hap
Just my .02 cents
Dude, I'm telling you, get the Racerboy shift knob and hook all your lights up to the buttons. It's bad arse. More than $40, but it works nice.

they aren't anything special, just ebay generics... got them and a couple for my friends' cars from the seller UnitedIndiglo (not sure if 1 or 2 words in name). something like $25. i just painted the bevel around the outside to match the dash.
