Default Painting the center console lid

Did anyone paint their center console lid? If so what kind of paint did you use? Its not a plastic lid and has kind of a spongy feel to it. Im afraid regular krylon paint which I used for the dash will just crack or chip and look really bad.

Krylon makes vinyl paint that might work on it. I would also grab a spare one from a junk yard to experiment on so you don't ruin your current one.

My lid is. You basically want to use a flex primer under the paint that will flex and not cause the paint to crack. My lid has been painted for about 2 years and it still looks perfect.
