PAINTIN SPEAKR GRILLS
Okay tommarow I am wanting to paint my grills over the back speakers will I have to sand it lightly first to rough it up or jus tpaint and clear coat I am going to try and use black light activated paint for my black light that I have.
Ours it not to question why...
It is to help the dude out!
When I painted my interior, I lightly sanded the surface so it was completely dull. I then used a light gray primer, it only took one coat to completely cover, but I put on a second coat of primer. After the primer dried I put on a few light coats of yellow (my choice for interior painting these days). Let each coat dry before you apply a second coat. If you think you need to, lightly sand the painted coat before applying the clear coat.
The rear speaker grills were actually quite easy to paint compared to the dash.
Good luck
