tnx for the pic, hmm, mines like right behind the mirror, like, well i have a moonroof though, but like it actualy does help abit if its in front for me cuz im often in many low light situations so the least bit of light helps out alot, im thinking of putting in a bright blue led or some other type of light in the dome light( blue matches all my other lights lol, allllll the ricer lights lol) Xenon bulbs realy do give alot, btw, off topic abit but i think we have EXCELENT headlights, they give off alotta light (RD2's only, RD1 lights suck abit lol).
bAHHHH Don't get the bulb style. Get the dual Led style off ebay, they really brighten your car. Well it's hard to read anything but it looks sweet, and not as ricey as dweet's Ex spider. I'll take some pics of mine if anyone want's what it looks like.
ya, tibby, i just ordered a set,

I'm going to get the LED one too, but white. The blue is a bit ricey. smile.gif And I just want to be able to see in my car when I need to.
They look like they would be very easy to make with a dead halogen bulb and a few parts from radio shack.

I will order an LED bulb. While in an auto parts store getting new brake lights I noticed these and bought them after an employee assured me they didn't look blue when on. According to the text on the dome light fixture itself, it takes 10w bulbs, not the 5w I have read everywhere.
But as you can see from the photo, the 3175 size is not what my dome light takes. Or maybe these are just a different size, they don't say "DE3175". It must be the 31mm vs 36mm size. The stock bulb was 5w though. I did something stupid and bent the metal clips slightly until the xenon fit. It's much brighter, but I still plan to get a mirror with map lights eventually.
