When I upgraded my sound, I did head unit > door and back speakers > amp > sub. I know people who will upgrade their head unit and speakers together. Did anyone do everything at once or do most people do it in stages like I did?

I did mine all at once, but it really makes no difference if it's done in stages, just it will keep sounding better as things are upgraded

Kept my factory head unit since I didnt want to lose steering wheel controls, but changed all the interior speakers, then added sub and amp, then did my Nexus tablet install in the dash.
