Ok, WTF!!! Urgent!
No no no... the amp works, this same setup worked in my cavalier... the problem is that when I hook the wires to my 6x9s, they dont work, even if the other end of the wire is connected to nothing...
Sorry Random, it was urgent... I had a competition to go to... but I never fixed it.

First of try what Dan said and use a meter to test the 6x9s. Like he he said, if it says oohms, they are bad. They should say somewhere in the neighborhood of 4ohms.
If they are ok then try hooking the amp leads up to one of the stock speakers.
Get back to us after those steps.

The stock speakers work... they just dont work when I connect them with my speaker wires that will connect to the high/low of my amp... if I connect the wires to the back of my stock 6x9s... it wont work, but once I remove those wires, they work once more..

From the above post, it sounds like you are feeding your amp speaker level inputs from the stock speakers.
Do us a favor....start at ground zero...tell us where all the wires are going, and answer these few questions.
Do the stock speakers work when hooked to the stock wiring?
Do the stock speakers work when hooked to the amp wiring?
Do the Alpine speakers work when hooked to the stock wiring?
Do the Alpine speakers work when hooked to the amp wiring?
Have you checked the fuze to the amp?
Have you checked the fuse IN/Connected to the amp?
Ok here are some other steps to try.
1) eliminate the rca's switch the front input to the rear and the rear to the front if your front ones go out you have narowed it down to something to do with the rca's and which set. Now go to your headunit disconnect one set and try the other set in both inputs and both outputs on your radio this process will eliminate everything to do with the rca's here's how if only one out put works on the radio you know it's the output on the radio, if only one set of rca's work you know the other is shot (remeber do this test on set of rca's at a time) now by doing this you proved no falt with the rca's or the headunit.
2) following step one if by plugging in to the amp on the front inputs (taking you have the back speakers wired to the back outputs) switch the speaker wires on the amp hook the back speakers to the front outputs if they work you have burnt out your rear output on your amp if they still don't work---
3) check your wiring see if you have the + and - switched on the other speaker this will put them out of phase and cause them not to work, check to make sure you only have the amp wires hooked up to the speakers and you don't have the stock wires hooked to them to this will cause them to short and not work check your wiring that you have no bare spots in the wire if there is and it's touching metal this will ground them out and cause them not to work and then check the resistance like Dan said if the resistance is any lower than 3.8 their burnt or any higher than 4.2 their is no speaker in the world that is a perfect 4 ohm so I gave you the range to look for.
This is everything you can do to trouble shot your speakers you can do it in any order you wish but these are all the troubleshooting steps you can take to eliminate evrthing from the headunit to the speakers of being the cause of the problem. Hope all of this helps and beleive me if you take these stapes you will find the problem.
Oh almost forgot make sure you connections on the terminals are good on the speaker and the amp especially the amp cause I know that fosgate amps in general are very picky and if the connection is not perfect sometime it will not work right.

Besides me being a REAL pain in the @ss
I've got your answers.
Hey Jaws.. could you go into deeper meaning in this part of your lecture?

Do the stock speakers work when hooked to the stock wiring?
Yes
Do the stock speakers work when hooked to the amp wiring?
No
Do the Alpine speakers work when hooked to the stock wiring?
They worked in my 2001 Cavalier, so yes.
Do the Alpine speakers work when hooked to the amp wiring?
Again, yes with the Cavalier.
Have you checked the fuze to the amp?
Yeuppers
Have you checked the fuse IN/Connected to the amp?
Yes I did..
I dunno what else to tell you. I use the stock head unit for a 97 tibby fx. My bro said there might be something on my car that doesnt allow me to add wires to my car or something... but I doubt that. Sorry for being an @ss.From the above post, it sounds like you are feeding your amp speaker level inputs from the stock speakers.

Sure,
On the back of the alpine speakers there is one big terminal which is + and one little one which is - find out which color wire from your amp is positive and negative or if their not color coded you will have to trace them to the speaker. After you do that make sure the colors and the terminals match for example red to the + terminal on the speaker and black to the - terminal now you want to make sure the right color is going to the right terminal on the speaker and is the same on both speakers and make sure it is hooked up this way at the amp too. As far as the other wiring I was asking if you had wires connected to the speaker from the amp and the headunit at the same time this would mean you would have four wire connected to each speaker if so dissconnect the stock ones. Also like I said go down my list just because your stuff work in another car doesn't mean it should work in the tib many of things could have happened a power spike when you hooked it up or disconnected it, excesive moisture, you could have banged it the wrong way touched wires together by mistake and not even knew you did it etc.. so don't stop testing just because it worked before like I said many things could have happened during the switch over so make sure you check.

Almost forgot, some other things to check that could be causing the problem
1) check your fader on the deck make sure it's balanced to the center
2) on the amp their should be a switch that says mono/sterio/bridged make sure it's set to sterio
3) does your headunit have a sub out if it does you might have your rca's connected to it aand when you disconnect your radio from power it shuts sub level line out off so check your rca's for the sub out if you have it.
Now for sure all the steps I gave you are every step you can take to find the problem and I gaurantee you will find it. If not let me know and we can see what other steps to take.
