Hmm, AFAIK, my Autometer oil pressure gauge shows ~20psi at idle, and ~80psi at WOT, using 20w50 oil (I'm turbo). Mine is plugged where the stock oil sender would normally be (next to the crank sensor). 25-30 when cruising sounds low, and 5-10 at idle is definitively low, but it might depend on where you plugged it.

If it's indeed that low, then your oil pump might be shot, or it could be your crank/rods bearings and journals.

Where did you end up hooking it up to? Could you get me a pic?

I wonder if I'll have the same readings as you.

My oil pressure reading is the same.........about 5-10 PSI at idle when my engine is at running temp, and then anywhere between 25 - 55 PSI when cruising (depending on RPM's).

Here is a pic of where i hooked mine up. Where else can i hook it up....to maybe get a more accurate reading.

That's using 10W30 Synthetic Oil.

Right here where your stock oil sender, right next to the crank sensor.

^^^^So I'm guesing you have a mechanical gauge as well? Why a T fitting....Could you not just tap into the original spot and disregard the stock dummy light.

Just as me, then.

BlackTibby00, I personally tend to try to keep most of the OEM functionality while modifying the car. I put the stock oil sender in the head, where some people here plugged their aftermarket oil pressure gauge. That way, everything still works.
