I got this the other day, tryin to figure out where the hell the fuses are, I took the cover off and don't see them.
Am I an idiot?
I'm using this to run power to so I can hook my amp up to one outlet and my power inverter to another, and have them fused. It leaves me one input and one output still.
Anyone got ideas on how I can consolidate some grounds too in a similar manner?
Am I an idiot?

hm... not really sure.
is that a capacitor? The fuse may be imbedded (military word!) tongue.gif into the circuit board, although that sounds like a stupid place to put it. I wouldn't take the case apart, as that could void the warranty. Try contacting the manufacturer or possibly a distributor?

REDZ if you are going to be running a power inverter off of that.....i suggest that you run another power wire to it....just to be safe, and to not draw too much current away from your amp.
I have no clue where your fuses would be....on most items of this type they are clearly visible and easily accessable.

Well, it's not a capacitor, it's a Distiribution Block, and it's fused. You HAVE to take the cover off to get the wires to screw down and such, I'll take it apart again today and show ya'll. It's actually MUCH better built than I thought it would be.
You think I should run another power wire? How bout I just take out my current one and put i a thicker one? The power inverter I've got is the Hip Gear one and I'm just putting it in to run the Xbox.
What about consolidating my grounds? I don't want 4 ground wires running everywhere.
Oh yeah, I DO have a Cap also, it's going in my setup.

well, REDZ, i said to put another one in mainly b/c you can pull more current thru say 2 four gauges cables and you could 1 2 guage....unless you are planning on going to a 0/1 guage, thats your best bet.
there are tons of things you can use for consolidating ground (possibly even another one of those voodoo things, just backwards)....unfortunately i'm eating lunch now....i will get you some links when im done.

how large are your ground wires? I'm not sure the proper pattern, but couldn't you run all of them to the capacitor then run one large one from Cap to VooDoo? Big Grounds and Good Grounds are always a plus

I don't know if I want another of these big bastards in the car, besides, I don't think the LCD readout would work.
I think I can do that with the grounds, I'll have to look.
Time to go get some new cable.

here ya go REDZ....tons of thing to look at. most of these can be used for power distibution AND merging gound wires to a common point.
