sorry for bringin this outta the dead but i think i found somehting of interest for u guys with a setup like this. if u get a source swithcer, most of them have a source for a rear camera. some will even switch the source to the rear camera automatically when the car is put in reverse. well for only 99 cents these are def. worth a try. the only prob. with them is that the viewing size is prob. really small.

Well, someone has done that. It looked good, but I'd have issues with not being able to manually unlock the trunk.
Good idea none the less though, I may add that to my list of to do's.
At the same time, that would free up my rearview mirror problem. I want to use my sunglass holder for my SAFC 2 but it gets in the way of the mirror. This will solve that problem.
