So I bought a new amp, sub and box to put in the tib to replace my old Dual 12" Subs from BB and my wal-mart amp. I bought a Profile AP1000M Mono Amp(310 RMS at 4 Ohms)(650 RMS at 2 Ohms), a RF P2 10" sub and a Q-Logic box. My other set-up took up my whole trunk and sounded horrible compared to my other friends systems. This takes up alot less space and hopefully it will sound alot cleaner than what I had. Anyone use this stuff? Hear good/bad thing?

Good rugged box. Great choice in speaker. excelent size for still being able to use your trunk.

Sound quality might be affected by airspace. Amplifier isn't the greatest.

Overall it looks like it will be a decent system.

thats is way more amp than that speaker needs so be sure to keep the gain on the amp not to high, but other that that not a bad setup... mild and should sound ok

I had a Profile AP2000 and loved it for the 11 days that I had it before it was stolen out of my Tib. That along with 2 Bravox UXP12D-2 subs and I was hitting 147db in the Tib on my tuning with no dynamat. The stereo place I bought everything said they could probably get another decible maybe two out of it. So yeah they are good amps. The AP2000 is rated for 100 amps and they said it metered at 98 amps which is the closest any amplifier they have metered that has actually come close to its rated capacity (Usually 88-96 amps).

But that is just what they told me so take it how you will.

Update! System sounds AWESOME! Nice and clean bass. Hits just as hard as my 2 12's did and takes up a whole lot less space. Im very pleased with it. I also got AOS gauges installed a while back but never got pics so here are some. I love em!
