I put my new white gauges faces in on the week end and I luv em ta deth.
It wasn't a hard job, but it did take a little time getting the gauges out. Remounting the stop pins for the tach & speedo is a pitta though.

they look great man. i see you said the stop pins were a PITA for you and i had a problem with my stop pins, im starting a thread up soon cuz i dont know how to fix the problem

what problem did you guys have? You shouldn't have to remove the stop pins...only the needles need to be popped off (a fork works best).
Not so much
You have to take the rest pin off of the old faces and put them on the new ones if you're doing the BROS ones.
The "Cheappy Ebay lay on top of old gauges" might not have to

Thanks for the props guys
IMO they look better (more sports/race look), and they are much easyer to see. They also light up real nice at night.
To fit the faces properly, you cut the old faces to get them off, remove the pins, fix the pins to the new faces, slid the new faces into place with the needles still in place. If you take the needles off you have problems (so I've been told) with them not pointing to the right position. Either way, since these faces replace the oem 1s, you would still need to swap the stop pins over. I fixed the pins the same way as the oem 1s. I very carefully melted the part of the pin at the back of the face with a soldering iron (with a flat tip).
Here's the old faces

They look nice, but why does everyone pick white face gauges over the stock ones?

WTF did you cut the old faces off? Just pull the needles off and they come off easy.
1. I followed the Bros instructions
2. I didn't want the prob's some ppl here have talked about with the needles not going back in the right place. that's why I posted here 1st to ask about any prob's ppl had with fitting them.
3. I'm not going to put the old faces back, so what does it matter.
