Max,

What did you end up doing with your CDX-Mp70?

Also, did you install that clarion yourself? If so, and troubles or did it bolt right up?

It was cake. The wires were all the same colours as the wiring harness. Only tricky part was finding a spot for the box with all the in/outputs. I put it under the passenger seat...then I changed my mind and put it under the carpet beneath the glovebox. I'll probably move it again tomorrow to somewhere permanent.

The MP70 is sitting right next to me. I dunno if I wanna sell it or put it in my VW or what. It'll probably just sit here..forgotten. *shrug*

Max,

I can't offer much, but if you want to get rid of it quick, let me know. I've got some PC crap and some cash that I would throw in. Perhaps a 16 port switch, about 50 100mb zip disks.....hell, I'd even give you an HP USB CD-ReWriter.....

Of course some cash too.

Edit:
Do you know if Sony makes a unit similar to that?

Similar like how? I mean you have the MP80...which is a step up....you got the M800 and the M850...the new ones with the FL screens. You have the MP40 which is a few steps down.

Naaa....computer parts are one thing I don't need right now. My Brother is an IT guy. He's got stuff all over the place.

I meant did Sony have a unit similar to the Clarion you got. I currently have the MP70 in my Tib, but I only have a CDX-CA850X in my Elantra, I was wanting to upgrade that. I'm an IT guy too, probably have about 15k in spare parts laying around here in my computer room....anything from 17" LCDs to a Cisco PIX 506 firewall.

How much cash will you take for the MP70?
