Default New custom enclosure!

Got the custom setup for my car yesterday direct from Cali. First, the test fit.......................nice!

Unfortunately,a little to tight for the sub. So the carpet is peeled back and the sandpaper gets busted out

Got the godson in on the sanding................

Took a couple hours of hand sanding, but we got the Alpine in nice and snug.

Got home this afternoon, reattached the carpeting and settled the new enclosure back in.

It's like having a whole new system again, with the bonus of getting my trunk space back! The test tracks on the CD I got with it rattled my buddies whole house (from the basement garage to the 3rd floor)................AWESOME!!!

I have been wanting an enclosure like that FOREVER! Where in the world did you get it, and how much did it run you? Does the company make enclosures for RD Tibs too? *lol*

Lol. Actually, it was an Elantra guy out in Cali that just so happens to be an audio installer/custom fab guy as well. He charged me $130 parts, $250 labor, and it was $65 to ship. He had to build it without my sub there, so the sanding part was perfectly understandable. Holy crap that thing hits hard though! I'm very happy with the finished product. His screen name on EXD is evilcalvin if you want to contact him V. Great guy!

Yeah, I know. It's near impossible this time of year though. Haven't had an above freezing day in a month or so now.

Well worth it to me considering there isn't one that exists for the XD otherwise. Built to the specs for the sub too, so it's perfect.
