Default Neons Installed

Woohoo after 3 months of trying to get my neons and then after a month deciding which alarm system I was going to get, I finally got it all installed, well almost.

My neons are installed, neo-blue streetglow kit, they come on remotely, when doors open or when I flip the switch inside under the dash (decided not to go with the foglight button)

I stuck with the Autopage alarm system, right now just a dual shock system right now, nothing special, remote start/keyless, thats where the almost comes in, they weren't able to install my keyless entry, due to the fact that they either didn't have all the parts for it or they weren't sure about the wiring, BTW they said that the Tib's wiring is hell, but then again the guy that owns this place is finishing a civic for nationals rolleyes.gif

but all I have to say is Sweet ass!

You can hook up keyless and I'll help you. First get you book for you alarm and find the wire color for the lock/unlock output, Now find your brain for the alarm or just ask the guy where he put it, Run this (lock/unlock)wire into the driver door, Remove your door panel, Go and get one door lock actuator and install it if you need more help with the actuator I'll walk you threw it just let me know. Put everything back together and you have keyless and no the Tibs wirirng is not hard it will be alittle pain to run the wire threw the door boot thow this guy probably just didn't want to take the door panel off or screw with the boot. Oh an actuator only costs about $15.

I'm not going to worry about it too much, the install is free if I buy the alarm from them. Their install team is MECP/ASE certified and I've talked to them quite a bit so I trust them. Especially after I've seen my neon install!!! I can't believe how good those look, you can hardly even see them if you look even with the underside of the car.

I'll try to get ahold of a digital camera asap too Low&Show. I've been wanting to put pics of my tib up with the rest of you guys for awhile now, cept I'm still in the early stages so it's not going to be a huge show

Oh by the way, I think I may have posted this in the wrong forum now that I've thought about it rolleyes.gif so if needed move, I mean to do no wrong
