Default need help fast

im starting to take apart my dash, i got all the pieces off exept the top plastic piece, i got all the screws but it seems to be stuck right behind the clock and rear defog button, anyone know why?

had the same problem and never got the dash off because of it... hopefully you'll get it off.

You need to make sure that you have taken the heater cable off first. You get to it by looking near your gas pedal on the right. You will see a cable that needs to be poped off.

I took all the bolts off but something was still holding them, wires I suppose...

You will have to work with me too when I'm gonna take mine off.

down to the right of your gas pedal .. remove the heater clip. then pull that up through the dash as you take it off.

if someone did a search for "heater cable" on this forum, the internet would implode. laugh.gif: wink1.gif

its really simple. undo that cable, and pull the dash towards you. undo all connections behind the dash you can get to. if its still stuck, gently pull towards you and note which set of wires is keeping it from pulling out further. then just unhook those.

omg thats how you do the heater cable, damn i have had that thign apart a million times and never unhooked it down there, damn that would save time
