Default NEED HELP... BIG PROBLEM

I have some neon lights in my car and I have them wired to my stero 12v for the power source and I was changing the switch and all of a sudden my radio went dead and the radio fuse and the audio fuse in the car are not blown, What might have I blown or shorted in my car.

If you have amps runing all your speakers/subs...then check the fuse under your hood connected to your power wires to the amps. Otherwise, you may have fried out your radio. sad.gif

Does your radio have power? Can you eject your cd? If it is an aftermarket cd player there should be a fuse right behind the head unit it comes standard with almost all of them so pull the radio out and check. If this fuse is fine or not there get an ohm meter and check to see if your getting power to the headunit, while your checking smell your radio if anything smells burnt. If your not getting power check the fuse again actually replace it even though it might look good isn't always the case. You want the fuse under the hood in the little black box.

Thanks for the tips, I do have an aftermarket radio and the fuse is not broken and I'll check the one under the hood today.
