Default Need Advice On CD Player.......

okay..I'm looking for a cheap cd player for my winter car. (Gotta have tunes...) I stumbled across this website (http://www.sbhcorp.com) and they have a Panasonic CQ-DFX301U for only $130. Here are the specs:

[*]CD Player/Receiver [*]4-channel high power amp (45W x 4 max.) ] [*]2V front/rear dual preamp-outs @ 200 ohms [*]Playback compatible with digital audio CD-R (when disc is finalized) [*]Hologram pickup [*]One-chip digital circuit [*]1-bit 4-DAC digital-to-analog conversion [*]Multi-stage noise shaping [*]Digital servo optical control [*]12-track direct access, track scan, search, repeat and random play [*]Anti-shock floating mechanism [*]Auto loading mechanism [*]Alpha tuner V [*]FM Optimizer (FMO), Adaptive FM Front End (AFE) and Impulse Noise Quieting (INQ) [*]Level meters [*]Open face CD access [*]Removable faceplate with flashing warning light [*]Wireless remote control

So my question basically..is this a good unit for the price? I have always had good results with Panasonics, and I'd like to stick with them. This unit looks cool, and the price is really good. But I need to know if you guys think it's worth it to buy this.

Thanx for the help! wink.gif

Hey Lo&Show man that sounds like a good deal man. I used to work for a stero shop part time. And I've installed many of the panasonic head units. They seem to be very well made unlike the Rockford Fosgate ones. Those things always had problems with them. But yeah It does sound like a good deal for the money. Does that one have the face that shows different scenes as well? Like the racecar one the dophlin one just wondering. But I say go for it.

A Piece of crap 85 BMW. Got it for only $300 and the only thing it needs is a new muffler. Otherwise it runs mint. The body only has a few rust spots, but the paint is really bad on it, and the interior needs to be cleaned. Oh yeah..that, and the fact that it has over 250,000 miles.

Yeah..I've always liked Panasonic. Everyone says their crap, but I beg to differ. The ones I've had never skipped when playing a cd, never burnt out, and all had really good sound quality. But as far as this one goes...I don't think it has the organic display. I think it just has the level meters that move up and down to the beat of the music.

Lo- Sounds like an awesome deal for the price. On Friday im gettin the Panasonic CQ-DF801U, 60Wx4, and it has the day and night thing to match the interior and the blue underbody kit on the outside.

Because I'm living in NY for now. (Can't wait to move back home next year..no more snow! rolleyes.gif ) And my car is way to custom and show worthy to be driving around in the snow and salty roads.

WHOA!!! Just noticed my post count on this thread. That can't be good! eek.gif
