Im going to be working on something like that over the summer. I know it wont leave me any trunk room but I dont care cuz I never really use my trunk for anything either. Looks very clean man. Was it real hard to do or not really?

The whole reason for doing it the way we did was to keep the trunk a trunk. The amp has plexi over top and a grill goes over the sub when i put stuff in it.
Under that black board is a whole big wooden frame, so it can hold a crapload of weight.

I want to change it because this wasnt the original plan. This was the easy and inexpensive way to do what i want. I will do a lot of plexi work with a bunch of lighting.

Im not sure if im going to change it though now, because im getting to the point were I dont have anytime away from work. I do concrete work, so as long as we dont have a lot of rain this summer ill be working all the time.

So in all, im happy with how it is. Its a great mix between show and everyday usability.

My only complaint with your trunk.. you can't use it for ANYTHING now.. unless it is strictly a show car? With the exposed amp and protection free sub.. anything put in that trunk is going to wreck havoc.

I agree, But nevertheless it does look great. Its not over the top, its simple and has a nice look. Good work.
mAybe you could post a DIY.

Nice. I like the amp like that.

I want to do something like this:

I only got as far as fiberglassing the corner though before I got sidetracked by other projects.
