Default mitsibishi evo seats on hyundai

i might be looking into trading my wheels for some evo seats off the mitsubushi lancer evolution and i was wondering if any of you guys have used seats from another car and what you did to put them on another yours?

i would be putting them on my 99 hyundai accent.

I know theres a few people who have swapped GK seats in their accents. Tib owners have done RSX seats.

Any seat will work in your car as long as you buy or create the brackets to hold them in properly.

By far the most important thing is mounting them correctly, as Majik said. The amount of ghetto sh*t that people do to get seats to fit... eugh. The same goes for the harnesses, don't just bolt them to the floor behind the seat, otherwise your spine will get munched in a crash.

It would be worth paying an engineering firm to make the brackets you need. Some things just aren't worth skimping on.
