Default loud noise

After I installed my amplifier and subwoofers I noticed that there is a high pitched, almost scream that comes from the subs when I hit the accelerator. As the RPMS go up the sounds gets louder and higher pitched, and goes down when it shifts. Anyone have any idea what this could be? I took the subs off, and it didn't happen with my regular speakers.

I used an amp wiring kit with 4 ga wire directly from the battery.

By signal wires do you mean the remote wire? or the wires running from the output terminals to the subwoofers? Or the RCA cables? lol

yeah, change that now. they should be running down the opposite side of the car.

tibminn, have you ever taken off the dash or done anything to move any of the wires back there around? you may have just moved it enough so that they are close enough to cause interference.
