lmao.gif I can't believe it, I just frickin cant lmao.gif

I finally get rid of all the gremlins in my system and settle outside Arby's (5 for $5.95 kicks all ass) to watch The Italian Job (remake not the 60's one).

Watch a bit of it, eat. Leave.

Put in Maximum Bass (cd from the UK with all kinds of jungle and garage tracks, loaded with bassline) and start driving back.

A few days ago I dropped the ohm load into my component speakers to 1ohm a channel, to basically up the power (because with the newish AudioBahn the bass is really loud) and play a track that I like titled Addicted to Bass.

Blew the crap out of both front speakers lmao.gif I think they were getting about a 400w rms dose owned.gif

Thankfully I have some really great pals in Team Phoenix Gold and one of them is sending me a set of replacements (Planet audio 2 ohm drivers).

Phew.

Things like this are so typical of a high powered system though. Youre forever replacing things that go pop on a good thrashing lmao.gif

Yeah, and it's hard to control yourself around that much power. I keep mine at 2 ohms. no way, no how there's going to be any problems from my setup.
