I was wondering if anyone has ever changed the red light in the bottom left hand of their door handle? My light was out and I was thinking of completely changing it to clear with a blue LED or bulb behind it. Has anyone tried this yet??

Default Light in door panel

I would like to know why I don't have one at all. Every other 2nd Gen Tib I have seen has them.

They were all standard on the RDs in Canada. But you crazy guys in the states had all these packaged options, and such... Most likely if you don't have power / body color matching mirrors, you might not have the light. But I dunno, just a guess.

Anyway, yeah it's been done. People have taken the plastic cover stuff from Florescent lights, yeah the stuff on the ceilings of offices and put it in there and just put whatever color bulb (192's) they want.
Here's the topic from HA : http://www.hyundaiaftermarket.com/cgi-bin/...t=000347#000000

Do a search for door lights over at HA, and you'll find more disscusions.

my tib (00) has cloth seats, power everything (no sunroof or body color side mirrors, but they are power) and i dont have the lights. Not a big loss to me, i have other plans for more interior lights.
