Light Behind The "water Temp" On The Dash

I have a weird problem.
The light behind the "water temp" area in the dash (needle and cluster) works when it feels like it.
most of the time it's dark, and sometimes it lights back on to be the brightest?!
How do you recommand to fix it? what lights this piece?

There are bulbs behind the gauge cluster. If you remove your dash (see DIY section) then remove your gauge cluster, you are able to remove all the bulbs 1by1 to verify and replace them.
