^haha yeah but you went homerun. this is like a fraction--a tenth of a tenth of what you wenth through. your car is like a saga.
what do you guys think of my choice over the blue? blue ones look real fancy but i couldn't stand the distraction. i wouldn't have been able to do it without you two and now it's not as hard. hell i could do a few more of these, and i've learned how to solder good. only thing i wish i had done is order some 700nm LED's that would make it more cherry colored but hey as long as it looks good and works well. it's actually a bit more reddish than in this photo because the camera let more light in.
hahah yeah little bugger wanted to hop in for a little joy ride. smile.gif smile.gif

HKC, I really like how your gauges came out. i'm hoping my bros gauges come out like that when i start my led project. I have a red gel sheet between the gauges and the el panel and i needed a darker sheet cause....welll...lol, i have pink bros gauges right now. owned.gif

i tried that el panel stuff too!! well i don't know how it is with the bros gauges but since my F2 were tinted there was clearly not enough light emitting from he panels. i had to throw that idea out. plus the trouble of cutting everything the right size and making sure the connection fits wasn't worth it. i really hope your work out somehow. post some photos up here.
i forget i don't have to have the car to take a picture with the dash panel on because it's in my basement lmao.gif

ok when i put my gauge cluster back in the slots in the car only the CEL lights up. i pulled the entire dash like you see in the picture. is that normal or should the whole thing light up? do i have to plug everything back together to test it?

for messing up a billion times in a span of 100 hours total, blowing a bunch of led's, re-doing then entire thing because i wanted to change the color, dealing with f2 gauges that are oddly tinted staying up until early mornings all in the middle of school, dogs, and a crazyhouse full of busy people that need me to do chores every minute i think it came out fairly decent.
sheez. so it's a test shot with the dash partially on because i've still got everything plucked to install gps.

if they were the stock gauges i would have done everything in one night. it looks neat in person. and definitely easy on the eye. i want to thank DTN and tibby01.
