Infrared eh? I don't think that this is what you really want. Infrared LED's are not visible to the human eye. That is the type of LED that is used in remote controles for your TV and Radio. They won't add any pazazz to your car. You wouldn't even be able to tell that they were on.

oh yeah, i was saying get them to see if i could do anything like turn on random remote controlled objects and shizzle.

maybe even make a IR camera. lol

Serious mang, ask anyone that's had Night Vision Goggles and has been driving with IR Spotlights. It's fun as hell.

seriously, thats the first thing that came to mind when i found these. i remebered a infinity commercial that showed one of their models with infrared crap spotting a deer form a ways away.

ideas....

If you could get some bright enough and make them flash, you could do what emergency vehicles do and make red lights turn to green. Shoot, I could cut 10 to 12 minutes off my commute.

i thought it was just a strobbing effect from a white light that did it.

Nope.

You'd have to get the right flash sequence or frequency of IR too mang.

They do make little kits that you can put in your car to change the lights for you, but if you are caught using one, it's a serious offence.
