interior door handles

Believe it or not, there are only about 6-8 screws.

There are 3 along the bottom edge. 2 on the Dash edge of the door, and then the ones hidden in the grab handle, and one in the open door handle. That's it.

All the rest are plastic POP snaps. If you just pry away the door panel and look behind, you will see them. They just pop out.

...or snap off.

My drivers door has only has one screw on the bottom edge, the poppers snapped off sad.gif

I've taken my drivers side door off about 5-6 times, and never had one break yet.

this is what i got unscrewed. 2 on the door handle, the one in behind the knob, 2 beside the rubber air ducts, i found the 3 in behind the map holder but it seems impossible to get them out..what can i do to get those out? also....did you gusy take you whole door off? rolleyes.gif or just tha part that most everyone is painting? also...if i get my windows tinted, will they remove my door too? cuz if they will....i'll just get that off while they tint....

Damn dude...do it the hard way

I'll explain it AGAIN

Ther are 2 screws where the door meets the dash.
There are 3 screws UNDER the DOOR. (lay on your back and open the door...you will see them.

The screws you are attacking will do nothing. Those panels are also held together on the backside with styrafoam, and other panels in back. To get it all apart, you need to remove the entire panel from the door first.

i got them all out...my door would come off if i pulled but will i pull off any wires? like to the power doors..also....there is a big black thing i see about in the middle of the door...do i need to unscrew those befor ei pop it off?

When you pop the panel off, you will have some "slack" in the cables to disconnect them.

Big black thing in the middle of the door?? I don't know what you mean....
