Some of you might have missed my informal posts, and I want to inspire. You get the hint you won't see my car until its new color cool.gif

(pain in the ass)

(pain in the ass)

It went through an Automatic-5Speed swap. Let me tell you, fantastic!! Now I have my Rside on there which fixes shift lag.
I'd say I'm completely satisfied with everything on my car now except for my damn lack of BBTB because the f***ing CF Cowls sh8t. I could have bought a BBTB but instead wanted the cowls more and I listened to my stupid ass. If you're reading this dude, sorry but if it weren't for the Group Buy my airflow would be doubled. One thing's for sure. I'll never have my CF Cowlings or my money crying.gif

Dont cry, you'll get it. I never fall through on the parts I say I'll make, I just take a while sometimes.

^I don't know how tibby01 did it with a roller?!?! and possibly a blow dryer for heat? if you look at his, it's so perfect you can't see anything. genious that guy is. i know it's heavier but i used V1se which is a thick two layers so i quilted the bottom with it instead of cutting everything the way it needs to be. also thought quilting will diffuse noise like the B2 bomber.

no kidding UrSonvS! my parents are seniors and they hate my car! although i''ll knit for the seniors, but i'll knit with the nurses laugh.gif

Yeah the gauges came out really nice for what i've been through with them. they are not perfect like the buttons on my tv remote control, but they definitely do their job.

blacktibs, you know i support you. i have supported you in the past and hell i know you're a good guy not to run off and i know i've been crude, outspoken in public like i am now and i feel shameful and miserable for a big mouth and ego. i'm a warm hearted trustworthy guy as well as you but let's put it this way: if my parent's ever found out what i believed was to come in the mail, they would have my ass kicked out of the basement. there's not a lot of life left in my tuning scene because i've lost so much.

i learned that family is the most important and the car means next to nothing. all i wanted to do before i quit my job and went to University full time like i was supposed to was to squeeze the last drops of passion out of me including my time here at the forum. i hope you understand. if you said there's no hope for the Cowlings anymore, i'd tell you to keep my share. 100% because i'm nice, you're nice, and you gave it your best shot. but since i have no idea what is happening i don't know what to think or if there is a when or what, if waiting is even a resort?

I haven't done any engine mod's if that's what you mean by modded car, but I have an auto. I don't mind it, but there's so much more freedom with a stick.

yeah the f2 is really nice in person. sure there are all the other nice gauges out there but they're not classy. i like the classy look instead of my gauges looking like the streets of tokyo.

sorry about having only 4 photos. i'm just beginning to put the car back together. the car hasn't been started in a while but from what i can tell thus far the soundproofing is really really nice! i used thicker sheets above the muffler to get rid of annoying resonance. it's really going to be a nice car. my best friends 2006 Tiburon is nice, but i can't stand it stock. anytime you have a tiburon and want sport, you MUST hook up the suspension and rims. with the sway bars i can take turns that compare to BMW's. it almost feels like an RC car.

i had my mods on while i had the auto. to be honest there's really no difference in speed. people say "get 5speed because it's faster". as someone who has been through a transmission swap with mods, i can confirm it isn't faster only 60lbs lighter and you choose your gear. it's not faster though, just more responsive. one thing's for sure you don't feel like a granny anymore.

yeah, with a manual you can get hella torque off the stop lights by slipping the clutch. It's all in how you want to drive. An automatic is one speed, economy. A manual allows you to fully utilize the engine.

Did you use a heat gun for that stuff? you really should. it will make everything seal up and never come loose. that's how you get the nice single looking piece. T01s is alot of different pieces, larger then yours, but he used a heat gun and pressed it all down so it looks like one piece.
