I found out from a gent who was installing my mothers stock Ford Stero (outside contractors do this kind of thing now) that the stck 100Watt Hyundai system is entirely ALPINE! I was florred. F*CK if I will ever replace THAT! wink.gif

I think he is mistaken. I've ripped mine out and apart before...and all the parts/chips boards etc.. say Hyundai.

 

I had a stereo shop tell me that Hyundai gets their stereo's FROM Clarion. What a great laugh that was. rolleyes.gif

In Canada, many Hyundai's 1997 and newer came from the factory with removeable face plate Clarion AM/FM CD players. As of right now the only 2002 model that does not come with a Clarion deck is the XG350. Hyundai Auto Canada has made a deal with Clarion to design an indash AM/FM CD player which will look factory and will come standard on all models, except the XG350. This change will take place part way though the 2002 model year. smile.gif

Mine's a Clarion as well. As for the speakers I would assume that they would be the same as the U.S. spec Tibs.
