Default Is this Infinity Basslink any good?

I'm looking at sub/amp combos, and I know I want an Infinity Kappa Perfect sub, but with an amp, any combo will run me well over 300. I can get an Infinity Basslink for under 200. I just want to know if they're as good as all of Infinity's other stuff. They make great speakers, and good subs, but I'm not sure about this since everything is all in one piece. Saves me some trouble and a lot of money, but does anyone know if it's any good?

a friend just put one in his 99 cougar and he likes it a lot. (actually, he got 2, but only one is installed right now). It won't win any awards for spl, but it sounds good. though, standing outside the car with the windows up, you can't hear (or feel) much bass. check bizrate.com for a decent price on one, then get sounddomain.com to beat a competetor's price for the best deal.

If you buy it in a store it's overpriced, but there are places online I've seen them for about 200, which isn't too bad. They sound nice but it's not strong, if your looking to fill out the low range without having a huge thump then the basslink works well.

I'm looking for SQ not SPL, but if I had two, you think I could pound pretty hard? I like to listen to Baby Got Back periodically, and every once in a long while the Star Wars Gangsta Rap. Mostly Tool otherwise...

I'll get on him to install the other one and i'll let you know. He doesn't have a garage, and it's mighty cold up here... so it'll be a challenge.
