diffused, however i wiped it out in the tachs just like how you have your gauges cleared out. tibby01 is right, it's not clear as glass.

howabout this stuff?


and i know it's a stupid question but what about nail polish?

sorry i keep bothering you guys about this haha...

heck, no bother.. this is a think tank mang. The best thing you can do is get a piece of transparent plastc and try a bunch of different colors on it. How else will you know what's good and what's not? I did that a few times with a bunch of different colors on a piece of acryllic to figure out which would be the most reflective blue color for my needles.

I had some custom paint made after that, cobalt blue with heavy, fine, aluminum metalic flake. I havn't put it on my own needles yet, but as soon as i get a chance I will. I tailored it wth a guy at the paint mixing place, i think it was carquest. I have a set of gauges made and ready to pop in, I just have to swap the AOS faces.

Maybe a guy at carquest could help you too.



my bad on the whole thinking the gauges were completely transparent. It looked like it in the pix. Especially that one with the F2.

oh, BTW.. 4 ounces of custom paint (a butt load) was only $9. They'll pressurize it and put it in a spray can for a bit more.

you can try it on the gauges, just use oops and wipe it off if it doesnt work right.

^^ that will work,

just make sure you tape the gauges to a piece of cardboard or something. You don't want the paint to get on the front.
