ive had a lot of experience with panasonic headunits, and ive always like the look, performance, and reliability of them. ive installed many in fiends cars, and they love them too. the one i have right now is old, but its still going strong after 2 and a half years of HIGH stress. but i think i may have to get rid of this one for its little brother...

now, you may say, "yeah, not to bad". but look in the features under "Display and other Features". you will see "customizable". click that. you can download tons of different screen shots, welcome baners, and videos from this site, and then upload them on the player with a cd-r. WOW!!!!

but that isnt even the greatest part. you click on the box under those three, it is a program to convert common picture types and AVI files to movies you can stick on the thing. i just created a 3dot matrix display of a sorority streaking acros our cafeteria, AND the famous "michigan" ice hockey goal!!!!!!!!!!! laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif laugh.gif

Sony has something similar to that, that came out a year or 2 ago.

 

DAMN DAMN DAMN! You know I have the Panasonic CQ-DF983U, looks just like that, except it doesn't have the customizable graphics and AVI stuff! That's my only gripe and I wish I had that feature...I guess I might have to upgrade in the near future...btw, what's the damage for one of those?

 

music is music, in my opionin it is the last thing that a car should get done to it, having said that, if i did get a deck that would definatly be considered...

Actually,music is not music.Some sounds better then others,and more importantly,some is recorded better then others.

If you wanna get real down to it, all that hokus-pokus on the hu's these days is junk!! The reason why they do that is to distract people from the fact their equipment doesn't have very good sound quality.
