i really need help!
who makes the best 6x9's? what size are the door speakers for a 2000 tib? and when they talk about frequency? i thinkin about getting these..i'll have most highsg going thru them cuz i'll have subs soon too. will this have a good, clean crisp sound? will these give me that?

I am upgrading to the new Infinity Kappas myself, I have Cerwin 6x9's now. I will always stand by the Kappa line, in my opinion, one of the best sets of speakers you can buy. As far as the door size, in my 98, its 6.5, but, if you dont know for sure, go on http://www.crutchfield.com and look for your car in their car finder, it'll tell you the size of all the speakers, and locations of all of them in your car. smile.gif

Just a hint for you... Give your biggest concerns to the front speakers. Preferrably a set of seperates or "point-source" type speakers. Reason being is that when is the last to you went to a concert and turned around so you could here how it sounded coming from behind you???? It is called staging, your rears really only need to be there for rear fill sound or the "echo" type effects you get when listening to music while facing it. Your rears could be a pair of basic 2 way 6x9's or even 6 1/2's in an adaptor.
