GET A COMPUSTAR!!!
Alarm, car starter and pager in one!
It kicks ass.

THe 2WFM, is this year's model, using FM frequencies, better than the older AM one.

I recently installed a Compustar in my Tib and its the greatest thing since alarms/remote engine staters were invented. The best thing about it is the range 1/4 mile or 1/2 mile withthte external antenna. and its a 2way communication pager system also, it lets you know the status of your car at all times, when the pre-warn goes off and/or full alarm is going, even tells you if your doors, hood, trunk is open.

If anyone is intrested in a Comupstar system I can hook you up, prices are in CDN dollars so it would be pretty cheap in USD. The Compustar can do Auto and Standards.

Get a cell phone/PDA combo and leave the faceplate in the glovebox, locked.

cell phone/PDA combos are week and nonfunctional for me.....the pda part runs palm os wich i think is poop....and the phone part is overly complicated for it's function....Where did they hide the keyhole to lock the glovebox on the 2001 tibs.........

mayby i could superglue or jb weld on a padlock.....then who needs an alarm i culd just jb weld my trunk shut....they'll never get the box out through the front.....lol

Hell i'm going to jb weld my wheels on right now...hopefully true value has a sale on jb wel i sure am going to need a lot of it

hell i think it would be easier to get an alarm with a small remote....LOL

So, how big is the remote?

Hmmm... I have a 99 Tiburon and the lock is right on the front. You saying the 01 Tiburons don't have a locking glove box?
