But I dont care. I solved an issue that someone else posted a while ago about burning their hands due to having a metal shift knob in the summer. I bought one of these

I keep it in my center console, and when before I get out of the car, I just pop it on the shift knob, and it keeps it nice and cool when sitting in the sun. No more burned hand!
