I have decided to re-do my system and this is my idea to make it as stealth as possible.
Im putting my subs in my spare tire hole with a cover over them. That part, I'm not worried about.
For the amp rack, I want to put up a piece of MDF behind the rear seats that goes the entire width of the hatch, cover in black carpet or vinyl, and place the amps on the board, but have them facing the rear seats....not the back of the hatch. So when you open the hatch, you dont see anything since the amps will be hidden and the subs will have cover over them.
Here's my question about the amps though. If I have them between the seats and MDF board (most likely actually attached to the board), is there enough air flow in that area of the hatch where I wont have to add some kind of cooling fan?

I guess it depends on how hot the amp gets and how much it's pushing. My old SPL amps never really got warm.
You could always tap into the amp power and run a couple small PC fans for circulation. Wouldn't be hard at all, and since it's hidden you don't have to worry about looks.

Depends on current and how your amp is cooled. If you have vents to the side or the top you may get by. But if it's just the fan on the bottom then you may want to consider some sort of method. Can you make a fake one so we can see exactly what you want to do?
Pics of the amps too!
