what do you need to hook up? i can tell you where to find the wires, what wire colors you will want to hook up to what wires, and what you will need to hook them up.

4 neon tubes. 2 under the dash so it glows at your feet in the front, and 2 under the seats in the back.

when do you want them to turn on? it's really simple. everything electrical needs a power and a ground. the thing is you need to know when you want them to have power! All the time or just when a key is turned on?

The other problem is mounting those Neons mang, I had some under my seat way back when, and if you mount any at the BACK of the seat, they get broken easily. So I went with cold cathode's instead, much smaller, easier to hide and mount.

prob. always, such is the point of a switch. wink1.gif jk.

ok, here is what you want to do. get a normal single pole switch. it will have two prongs sticking out of it. run a fused(to find what rated fuse, add up the amperage from each tube. you will need a fuse slightly higher than that number) power wire straight from the battery into the cabin.

you want to use a bosch type relay. the relay will have numbers on the bottom, or use this....

connect the power wire from the battery(be sure to fuse it!!!do it right) to terminal 30 on the relay. cover terminal 87a with something, dont let it stay exposed. terminal 87 will be the source for power for all your lights, so connect all the power wires from your neons to this. you will then want to branch of your fused power wire. run a wire off it straight to either pole of the switch. run a wire from the other pole on the switch to terminal 85 on the relay. run a wire from terminal 86 on the relay to a grounding point(spot on the chassis with BARE metal. use something that already has a bolt in it). you will then just need to ground the lights(you can make it the same ground point as the relay ground), and you will be done.

as far as HOW to connect things, grab yourself a solderless terminal kit with a crimper from autozone or something.

hope this helps.

i had my underbody neons on a switch as well as the rest of them. Some people like me don't know an always hot switch. So we have it as an acc hot switch. so no matter what the lights turn off with the car.
