I'm going to wire AFR gauge.

What are the best places to get +12V (hot at on), +12 (for backlight) and ground?

Do I need to use a fuse for +12V?

Thanx!

this where you can tap from:

switched +12v:

- ecu pin # 58. since your are tapping your o2 sensor from the ecu harness, might as well take power it from that area
- find an empty spot on in you fuse box and tap it from there

note: yes, it's always a good idea to fuse the power... but not really necessary... most of the sources under the dash is already fused

backlight (and maybe gound):

ground:

- ecu pin # 55
- or find any bolts/screws that is connected right to the metal body of the car and get it from there

i wouldnt even bother with getting the switched from the ecu harness. there are tons of other switched sources that are much easier to access. the switched radio wire would even work. if you are putting the gauge on the pillar and have a sunroof, there is a hot wire running through there as well.
