Default How much does back seat weight?

Im thinking about doing the back seat delete but I wonder if its even worth it. No one ever really sits back there but I do keep books and crap on the back seat. If its only a few pounds and doesnt make any major improvement to weight savings then Im not gonna worry about removing it.

The trunk might save you the most weight. Spare tire is 35+ pounds

^ which is great until you have a blowout.

Weight reduction: for track cars.

yes, this is true, but I was rocking the Veilside kit. That 13" donut would have done nothing for me except push gravel with my front bumper.

i think its worth it, but you have to go all the way. atm i've pretty much done from the b pillar back minus the spare. it made a pretty decent difference with the 1.5, but i'm preparing to do the rest. spare, roof lining, remnants of the stereo, a/c, carpet, front sound deadening, light front seats, fg door trims, fg bonnet, fg, guards, smaller + relocated battery and bumper crash pads.

its gained ~80 lbs with the beta in the front, so i'd like to keep the whole car below 2200 lbs if i can.
