Default How to make it clean?

Does any body have pictures of their Tiburon trunks with big sound systems in them?? I used to have a car with a real trunk and it was easy to hide my mess of wires..... I want a nice sub box and place to put my amp... kinda show car style....

My car.....

Another issue I have about a sound system is that I absoloutly cannot trust any installer in my area. Last car I had the installer totaly fu*cked up and told me that he set it up the way he would in his car (my system was nothing but static, even when playing a cd) I jew rigged it to the point where it was ok, but I still had problems. How are places like best buys and circut city for getting **** installed?

Best Buy & circuit city r horrible, worse than any audio place. I dont trust anyone other than myself or friends to work on my car. Most installers rush thru things unless ur paying a TON for the install. Talk to long about making it clean on ur own. Other than that, pay for someplace thats good with fiberglass to give u a nice clean setup. Just make sure they know what they r doing, & get a satisfaction guarantee.

You're probably best off finding somebody you can trust to talk to about it. Ask them everything you want to know, then ask to see their car, since it's not always easy to picture what people are talking about. Then do it yourself. Step one: Disconnect the (-) terminal from the battery. Always.

Its 2 15's in separate boxes with a false panel over the top to hide the wires and make it look like part of the car. I am tearing it all out soon though because I want to so something with fiberglass or a wall behind the front seats. As for getting into the trunk, thats a deffinate NO with 15's in the way. I took the spare out to lose a few extra punds. No point having it if I can't get to it. I can get to the tail lights if a bulb blew, I made sure of that when putting it in. I am just worried about what I can do when I get a flat cuz I cant have it towed with the body kit on it... rolleyes.gif

Well my idea is to make a new deck in the back that goes from the back seats to the back of the trunk (like your box does) and put some speakers in there..... the whole new deck would be able to lift up so I can still get into my trunk..... possible?
