Default How long does the battery in your remove fob last?

Mine (Viper alarm remote) seems to die every 6 months. Seems like it should last longer than that. I use high quality Duracell batteries too.

Been what, 4 years now, and haven't replaced? Non-oem though.

5 years for both OEM FOB's and still on the original batteries.

Just an FYI, you can buy used OEM FOB's on ebay for super cheap and they normally come with a battery. I bought one for my work truck for under $10! It came with instruction on how to program it and looked to be brand new! Awesome deal if you need a FOB.
