I have never in my life ever heard how they sound in cars, so just curious if they have any kind of decent sound at all

I had 1 in my truck and ended up going to a regular truck box I didnt care for it at all.

Design wise it's not too bad, but the "loaded" enclosures are usually filled with crap subs and/or a crap amp. You can buy an empty tube style box, the box itself isn't bad if you put a good sub in it and drive it with a decent amp.

i wouldn't recomend them. The subs aren't goin to be the best and the box will work. but its not worth gettin it for the sake of the box. Try to find a better setup on craigslist. or build your own box smile.gif, its alot cheaper

When purchased for their intended use, they're perfect. What's their intended use? To add a little bit of bass to a stock system and to be easily removable. They're usually strapped in, not bolted down. The electrical is all on one plug. If you have a family and need to be able to quickly remove the sub to use all of your trunk or if you autocross on the weekends and want to quickly shed the pounds, you can't do any better than a Bazooka sub.
