Now draw up your design and system. Figure out what comapny you want to supply the radio, and get the model #. Find out what company you want to supply the amps, and get the model #'s. Etc,etc, etc.... One of the best things to do when your drawing up your design is to do a layer drawing. Have a basic drawing of your car. Then on a transparent sheet, draw where your speakers would go. An another transparent sheet, draw where the radio, EQ, x-over, and amps will go. On another sheet, draw in where the power cables. And on the final sheet, draw in the RCA's and so on.
Now write out your own background as the owner of the car. Include how old you are, where you live, what you do, what other projects you have done, if any other magzines covered your past projects, list which shows you have been to, and which events/shows you have won awards or trophies at. If you havn't ever done this before, then write why you're doing this now.

Do research on different companies that you have chosen to approach for products. Find out the address of the main headquarters/office, and the email addy's. Find out who's in charge for marketing the company. THAT'S the person you want to send your proposal to. wink.gif
